Temple Zion Presents
“The Holiness of Indulgence and Overreaching”
Featuring Innovative Spiritual Educator
~ Chaya Adler Poretsky ~
Every month, Jewish women gather on the new moon to celebrate and contemplate the special gifts of healing, knowledge and insight into the human condition each month brings.
When faced with feelings of frustration and disappointment, very often, we seek the comfort of indulgence and overreaching. But, such action isn’t necessarily destructive– in fact, it can be holy. This is the focus of Rosh Chodesh Shvat: The Holiness of Indulgence and Overreaching and how to distinguish it from regular, bad behavior.
Jewish women of any experience level and background are welcome to learn and explore!
Join us Thursday evening, 1/22/15 from 7:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m.
ABRAHAM HALL at Temple Zion of Long Beach, NY.
Light refreshments provided.
$10 suggested donation.
