DK-MB Blog Friday 1/13/2012 Temple Zion has added handrails to the back entrances from Michigan Street. This was done to comply with our insurers requirements. We can thank David K, Alan and David S. for completing this project. Monday 12/26/2011 Temple Zion had its annual Chanukah luncheon on December 24, 2011 which all had a great time. We want to thank Eileen, Seymour, Marilyn, the Mitchel’s, Sidney, Joy and David for decorating the Social Hall. Monday 12/19/2011 Temple Zion has increased its web presence due to the generous donation by Josh and Miriam, which allows us an unlimited number of pages verus x-number of pages. In the months to come, we will be adding additional content management along with our communication pages. Monday, 12/12/2011 Alan Greenberger and Marc Bochner welcomed Joe Sinnona and the West End Historical / Business Association along with the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce Committee,  with Michael Kerr - President, Mark Tannenbaum - Vice President to name a few. This was done to provide our West End Community candle lighting, which was in conjunction with the tree lighting on Ohio Avenue. Pictures were taken and will be in the gallery when available. Wednesday, 12/7/2011 Eli Hass poured the foundation for the new location of our Menorah, which will be located to the left of the Temple Zion Sign that Eli donated in honor of his father. A electrical outlet is planned for Friday so we will not have to run an extension cord out the kitchen window. Monday,  11/14/2011 Temple Zion is pleased to announce that it expanded its website to 5 full pages. They consists of About Us, Schedules, Kid’s Corner, Parsha and Events. We are growing our website to reflect our members needs and concerns for communication and provide updates on our plans. Please check back often. Monday,  10/03/2011 Temple Zion launched its first website with just a home page to start with.We at Temple Zion are proud to begin our journey into the digital landscape known to many as the Internet.
